

| Capt. Chris has been fishing in the salt and fresh waters of Florida for over 20 years. He has caught over 40 species of fish in all parts of the state. He is a full time fishing guide and US Coast Guard licensed captain living in the Longwood area near Orlando. He fishes from a Hewes flats skiff pursuing big saltwater fish on light tackle. He started out, however, learning to fish the flats by wading before graduating to a 13 ft. boat. Most of his time is spent prowling the saltwater lagoons of east central Florida from Ponce Inlet to Stuart, including the Mosquito Lagoon, Indian and Banana River Lagoons as well as the Sebastian River in search of redfish, trout, tarpon, and snook. However, he has fished from the Florida Keys to Tampa Bay both inshore and off. Capt. Chris has also fished fresh water lakes and ponds from Ft. Lauderdale to Gainesville. The Captain's experience comes not only from countless days on the water but through extensive research on all types of fishing. Capt. Chris has experience instructing and guiding anglers of all ages and skill levels how to apply the techniques he has learned. He is a certified as a casting instructor through the Federation of Fly Fishers. Capt. Chris is licensed, fully insured and carries the permit required to guide in the Canaveral National Seashore. He is a member of the Florida Guides Association, Indian River Guides Association, and the National Association of Charterboat Operators. |
